Cédric Tangre made his first laps on two wheels on a pw 50 at the age of 4. Encouraged by a passionate father, at the age of 15 he participated in the CAGIVA 125 cup. This race officially launched his career. Cedric Tangre lives life in the fast lane: he's a motorcyclist at the weekend and a qualified Mechanical Engineering teacher during the week.
In 1999, he took part in the France Promosport Cup in which he developed and worked his way up until 2004. Following a great 5th place spot in the France Promosport 600cc cup, he was propelled to the France Stocksport 1000cc championship in which he finished in 4th position. In the coming years, he participated in the World FIM Superstock 1000cc Cup in the DBR Roma team, then for the first time in the The 24 Hours of Le Mans with Infini Team Yohann Moto Sport, in which he came fourth. More determined than ever, he decided to return to the France Supersport 600cc championship in 2013-2014. This was an excellent decision since he won the championship in 2015 after a final round of fighting it out with his cousin Robin Camus who ended up runner-up of the competition. This season is and will remain the best time in his career as he has won two tests out of the last four after 15 years of perseverance in speed racing.
More recently he has participated in the championship for 48 thousandths of a second and finished 3rd in the World Superstock Endurance Cup. This victory is even more significant since Cédric is part of the Yoanne Moto Sport team. A team composed of his family, which makes each race and the pleasure with each victory is more intense. His title s challenged this year and he is fighting it out in the world 600 Supersport championship. His goal: to achieve his maximum race time in the France 600 Supersport championship, while progressing alongside world class drivers. His performance secret for future riders: "You must be strong and bounce back after a fall, never become discouraged and persevere".
