What do SKeeD® products protect against?
SKeeD® products protect against burns during a motorcycle crash. Kermel® fiber resists heat, does not melt, and limits heat transfer.
What are the benefits of SKeeD® products?
They are thermoregulating: warm in winter and cool in summer with breathable zones and high comfort.
What materials are used?
Kermel fiber and Modal-FR cotton used in firefighter equipment.
Are there products for women?
No dedicated range yet, but all products are unisex and fit all body types.
Can I wear SKeeD® directly on skin?
Yes, it is recommended as a second skin under protective gear.
What happens in a crash?
They reduce heat transfer and protect skin from burns caused by friction.
Will I be too hot or cold?
They regulate temperature: warm in winter, breathable in summer (Air version recommended).
Are SKeeD® products certified?
They are recommended by FFM and FIM federations.
First use instructions?
Wash at 40°C before first use. Avoid tumble dryer.
How to maintain products?
Machine wash at 40°C, air dry only.
